Jobseeker News
- H123 is happy to announce the release of their “FREE TRIAL” for a period of three months to all registered, legitimate hospitality businesses in Canada. With this new launch, our employer registration has been unprecedented. In order to take advantage of the growing opportunities that H123 provides, please keep your profiles up to date. By logging into your account and editing any information, the date last modified field will be replaced with today's date to show employers that your profile is up to date. If nothing on your profile needs updating, just edit any section without changing any information in order for the date last modified to be updated to reflect today's date.
- We know that some jobseekers will get discouraged when they see their “View count” has not gone up or that hospitality employers have not contacted them. Remember, our unique service is intended to assist you in finding employment. It shouldn't replace other strategies that you are currently using to find job opportunities. When employers post jobs, many unwanted candidates email, fax or send in their resumes to the employer even if they don't have the necessary skills still hoping to be discovered. Employers get frustrated and many times end up throwing resumes into the trash. That's why our site is so unique and attractive to employers. If you are confident about your skills and keep them updated on your profile, as we grow and the employer registration grows, your chances of being contacted for a potential job opportunity will increase. Employers can search and find the talent they want without any frustration, costly fees or valuable time wasted.
There is no “down side” in keeping your resume up to date in our Hospitality123 database. The worse that can happen is you get called from an employer who shows interest in you!
We encourage you to pass along our site to anyone in the hospitality industry looking for employment and will update you on the progress of our site, services and any new functionality as we move forward to make Hospitality123 the most resource-rich, unique recruiting system in the hospitality industry.

Please contact us for further information.
- Employers may not wish to view “optional” photographs posted by the jobseekers along with their career profiles. This feature can be turned off for those employers who do not wish to use it. Please contact Hospitality123 in order to deactivate this function if not required. The default setting when employers register is to be able to view “optional” photographs posted by the jobseekers alongside their profiles.
- Links to hospitality colleges and universities that have aligned themselves with us have been linked to our site and can be seen on the homepage by clicking on the “ Affiliated Colleges and Universities” link. These hospitality programs have also linked us on their college or university hospitality webpage and will be promoting our site internally to their students and alumni. We look forward to bringing on board many other colleges and universities that offer hospitality programs and look forward to assisting hospitality students and alumni in obtaining gainful employment.
- A new function under the link “Settings” is now available to employers in order to customize the email sent to jobseekers when an employer “Shows Interest” in any jobseeker for potential employment. Currently a generic email with the employer company and contact information is sent to the selected jobseeker requesting them to contact the employer. This new function gives employers a process to be able to customize the email with specific instructions for the selected jobseeker.
- Our database is rapidly expanding and diversifying as more colleges and universities come on board to promote our site and service. As well, more and more seasoned hospitality professionals seeking employment are finding that our site and service is second to none and are quickly spreading the word and registering with us.
- Our $99 per month introductory offer has been extended until the end of March 2007. Register with us now to take advantage of this limited time offer. As we move forward, our aim is to be able to give all size hospitality businesses access to modern technology and the internet in order to solve their hospitality staffing needs. We want small and large businesses to be able to fill their staffing needs in a timely and cost effective manner and want to be able to give small businesses the same advantages that larger corporate businesses have had in the past. Our new pricing structure after March 31, 2007, will be based on the number of employees per business location. Please refer to our pricing link for employers to see the new fee structure after March 31, 2007. Special package rates are available for larger corporate businesses that have multiple business locations including franchised locations. Please contact us for further information.
