You will be guided through a series of steps in order to register your personal career profile. Contact and career related information will be required. Be as detailed as you possibly can and avoid using the “ANY” selection for fields such as “Desired Position” and “Preferred Location”. Employers want to know which type of position you are looking for and in what specific geographical area. You can choose multiple selections by using the “Ctrl” key. Be as detailed as you can in the Professional Designation, Job Title, and Responsibilities fields. Employers can search for keywords in these fields to help them select the right candidates.
-
Public/Private – By using the “public” button, all details of your profile including contact information can be seen by employers. By using the “private” button, all details excluding contact information (email address, telephone number(s), name, address) will be seen by employers. An employer will still be able to contact you directly by using their “Show Interest” function where a system generated email is sent to you in order for you to respond for a job opportunity. However, no contact information is made available to the employer including the email address that is used to generate the email. You have total confidentiality and may or may not choose to respond to the employer.
-
Upon completing your profile, you are emailed your user name and password to the email address provided by you on the contact information section. Please carefully follow the instructions on the email to activate your profile. Once you follow the instruction in the email, your account will be activated. If you don't get the "successful" message or if you do not follow the instruction in the email, your profile will remain inactivated.
